Spanish & English Counseling

Relationships & Migration process

I am a Psychologist originally from Argentina, working from an Integrative approach based mainly on Behavioral Science (CBS - CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), selecting the most appropriate for each particular client.

I help individuals who feel out of balance by their transition to navigate the emotional storm of relocation, grieve what they left behind, and build a meaningful, connected life in their new home.

I am trained and have worked as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, assisting people with diverse problems such as anxiety and emotional regulation, relationships and attachment issues.

Expatriation Process

Expatriation is not just a logistical move; it is a profound attachment injury (loss of your "safe base," culture, and social network) and a crisis of identity (who am I in this new context?).

“I hate it here, why is this so hard? I feel drained, I think I made a mistake.”

From lost to grounded

We work on learning emotional regulation tools that help you to better cope with anxiety and overwhelm.

“I feel lonely and disconnected. I don’t feel at home anywhere anymore.”

Relationships and loneliness

We work on rebuilding your sense of emotional safety: your external support system an internal 'Safe Base'.

“I don’t know who I am here. I’m just a trailing spouse or the expat employee.

The identity rebuilder

We work from feeling lost, without compass or purpose to build the life that aligns with who you truly are.

  • “I wanted to say thank you for the last five months of therapy. It has honestly been so helpful and such a pleasure to have you as my first psychologist. I feel like I have all the tools at my disposal to keep checking in on myself and my thoughts.

    L. from Canada, 32 years old. Researcher.

  • "I contacted Agustina because I felt overwhelmed and I was struggling with sleeping. I had moved to Germany, became a dad, COVID situation, left my job…everything was a lot. She supported and guided me in how to re-establish the order in my life. She taught me techniques that were very helpful and how to connect more with myself. "

W, male from UK, 35 years old. Language teacher.

Eternamente agradecido."

    L. de Argentina, 25 años. Estudiante.

  • "First time I reached Agustina I was lost. I had no energy to do anything, even to go out of home. She helped me to believe in myself again and always was there to support and push me every time a little more to move on and follow my dreams. I really thank her for giving me the tools to take care of myself and handle my difficulties."

    C. female from USA, 41 years old. Elementary school teacher.

  • “Gracias por ayudarme a ser quien hoy soy, a aceptarme y valorar la vida”.

    S. de España, 34 años. Consultant.

  • "She was really helpful, kind and committed to help me. I’ll definitely come back to her if I need to.”

S, female from Tunisia, 34 years old. Project Manager

About me

I was born and raised in Argentina where I worked as a clinical psychologist and private psychotherapist.

After several professional experiences in my country, especially working with anxiety, depression and other disorders, I had to emigrate to Spain, then to Germany and now to Switzerland, circumstances that allowed me to develop a deeper self-knowledge, learn from adversity and rebuild my life...the life that I choose to live.

Cross-cultural Relationships

"Invisible Guest": Family, Society & Roots.

Extended family influence & cultural expectations can bring guilt, expectations and loyalty conflicts.

We address the emotional strain of family, society and culture pressure and the complexities faced by a "trailing spouse" or a "local" partner, aiming to become a unified and resilient team.

Decoding the Cultural Blueprint

The "invisible rules" from our home countries and language barriers often lead to misunderstandings.

By identifying patterns of miscommunication and uncovering cultural “templates” (learned ways of showing affection, managing conflict, and understanding commitment), we aim to move from power struggles to openness and deeper intimacy.

Navigating Attachment Across Borders

“My partner became my primary everything, my whole support systems.”

We identify how your attachment style interacts with the unique stressors of relocation and cultural identity, trying to build a secure bond where you feel safe to explore your new life together.
